Caguas, Puerto Rico (April 29, 2025) – The childhood pastime of imitating the Tejano music legend Selena (1971–1995) has transformed into a spectacular show.
Singer, dancer, and actress Ana Isabelle will become one of her favorite stars to deliver a dazzling musical tribute titled “Fotos y recuerdos,” to be held on Sunday, August 31, at 6:00 p.m., at Moneró Café & Teatro in Bellas Artes de Caguas (BAC).

“Selena has been one of my favorite artists since I was a child,” shared the performer. “I used to imitate her, and her album Amor Prohibido was a Christmas gift I found under the tree—it sparked my passion for singing and dancing,” she continued.
In addition to the popular repertoire, which includes memorable hits such as Amor Prohibido, Como una flor, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, No me queda más, and Si una vez, Ana Isabelle will surprise the audience with a look that evokes the beloved singer, whose life was tragically cut short on March 31, 1995, when she was murdered by her personal assistant, Yolanda Saldívar.
“I loved her look, her voice, her emotion. Her style was defined and unique,” declared the proud Caguas native.
This will not be Ana Isabelle’s first connection to the Quintanilla family. In 2011, Selena’s brother and former music producer, AB Quintanilla, invited her to participate in the single Kumbia All Stars, which also featured the voices of Albita, Ender Thomas, and La Shica.
“He invited me to record on this record, and meeting him up close was the most incredible experience for someone who admires an artist, because even though Selena was no longer alive, he was her producer and an extension of her. I had an amazing experience with him in the studio,” she said.
Tickets for “Fotos y recuerdos: Tribute to Selena” are available on Ticketera. There is also a VIP option, which includes a table in front of the stage and a welcome glass of champagne.
