Caguas, Puerto Rico (September 7, 2025) – Music, like all artistic disciplines, should be accessible to everyone. With this in mind, the Board of Directors and Administration of Bellas Artes de Caguas (BAC) launched a public voting campaign on Friday, September 5, in support of the awarding of funds from the Levitt Foundation under the Levitt Music Series program.

These funds will help enhance the musical projects presented by singers Yavier Hidalgo (Crearé) and Josy Latorre (Fundación Olas y Arenas) with the support of our institution.

“For Bellas Artes de Caguas, being a recipient of Levitt Music Series funds is a great opportunity to bring free musical events to the entire region, promoting new talent while also creating workshops for established artists,” emphasized BAC Executive Director Ivonne Class.

Levitt Music Series is a community-driven program aimed at supporting institutions or events that offer free musical performances in outdoor spaces. The selected proposal can receive up to $120,000 in multi-year funding.

To vote, individuals can visit: https://vote.levitt.org/

, search for Bellas Artes de Caguas, and click “Vote.” Votes can also be submitted via text to 877-409-5525 with the keyword: Caguas. Additionally, voters can scan the QR code featured in the campaign promotion on BAC’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Voting will remain open until Monday, September 15, at 5:00 p.m. Los Angeles time (8:00 p.m. Puerto Rico time).
