Caguas, Puerto Rico (September 25, 2025) – Experienced telenovela actress Aylin Mujica is coming to the island to join the star-studded cast of the comedy “Brujas”, which will be performed on Sunday, November 16, at the Felipe Rodríguez Hall of the Centro de Bellas Artes in Caguas.

Mujica, who is currently part of the series “Velvet: El nuevo imperio”, will share the stage with other prominent performing arts figures: Gaby Spanic, Sabine Moussier, Cecilia Galliano, Verónica Montes, Dalilah Polanco, Bárbara Torres, and Lorena Herrena. Together, they will bring to life a “spell” of friendship among women.

Directed by Benny Ibarra, the play follows a group of high school friends who reunite after years apart. As the night progresses, the atmosphere among them heats up. Anecdotes, memories, and laughter can turn into unexpected revelations that, in turn, resolve old mysteries, lies, and even betrayals.

The original play by Spanish playwright Santiago Moncada presents each actress through realistic characters, including a domestic worker, a wealthy companion, a successful professional, a deceived wife, and a closeted lesbian. Through these roles, the play reflects issues that still affect women in modern times, such as machismo, family abandonment, racism, and gender discrimination, among many others.

All these experiences emerge through sharp, humorous conversations, intertwined with the love these women have for a friendship that has endured over the years. In this way, “Brujas” guarantees laughter from start to finish, as has been the case in theaters in Argentina and Mexico where the play has been performed.

Tickets are on sale at Ticketera and at the Bellas Artes de Caguas box office. Produced by Rosalis Torres.
