The artist will present a concert inspired by the holiday season, drawing from her experiences in New York and Puerto Rico.

Caguas, Puerto Rico (September 23, 2025) – If it were up to her, it would be Christmas all year long. It is the time of year she enjoys the most, a love that has stayed with her since childhood. Inspired by the festive season ahead, singer Nydia Caro will present the concert “My Two Christmases” on Sunday, November 16, at 4:00 p.m., at Moneró Café Teatro & Bar, in Bellas Artes de Caguas (BAC). Tickets are available on Ticketera.
Born in New York City to Puerto Rican parents, the “Doll with Enchanting Eyes” experienced a dazzling, visually stunning Christmas. Those memories, combined with American holiday traditions, accompanied her until she was 20, when she settled her life and artistic career in Puerto Rico. Nydia Caro aims to translate this duality of Christmas into a repertoire that harmonizes the songs of her childhood and adolescence with those she discovered in adulthood, which have become her Christmas anthems.
“I love Christmas!” exclaims the vocalist, her eyes sparkling like a child receiving a gift. “I’ll have American Christmas songs, which are also known here, and many of them have translations and are sung in Spanish too, and I love Christmas here. I’ve learned to adore Christmas here, and now I don’t have a conflict because I mix them,” the singer shared.
The BAC-presented concert will be directed by Jorge Laboy and will also feature popular music hits that audiences always expect from Nydia Caro, including the song that launched her international career, “Hoy canto por cantar” (Festival OTI, 1974).
Tickets for this special evening, which will set the tone for the holiday season, are available on Ticketera. For more information about this and other events at BAC, visit their social media on Facebook and Instagram, or the website bellasartescaguas.com.
